![]() ![]() But in the end I decided to finish the trilogy and found everything made sense by the time I finished the third book. It was such a big twist I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep reading the story. There is a pretty big twist early on in Parasite, the first book in the trilogy. ![]() Sal and her family are trapped between bad and worse, and must find a way to compromise between the two sides of their nature. ![]() The outbreak has spread, tearing apart the foundations of society, as implanted tapeworms have turned their human hosts into a seemingly mindless mob. And poof you have a bunch of tapeworm zombies running around. The final book in Mira Grant’s terrifying Parasitology trilogy. The tapeworms start to migrate from their hosts’ intestines to their brains. Then, of course, something unexpected happens. So tapeworms were customized to administer the needed medication with the added benefit of weight control. I must say the idea of having a tapeworm implant isn’t my idea of progress but Grant made the idea plausible because people had become too lazy and/or irresponsible to actually take their medications. If you’re squeamish about tapeworms and other parasites you should probably skip these books. Although I’m not sure about Mira Grant’s Parasitology Trilogy either. It’s more that I haven’t come across anything I wanted to share. It’s been a while since I’ve written a review. ![]()
